This Year's Jupiter Transit, Simply
Jupiter entered Karkidakam on 2 June 2026. It's exalted there, its strongest sign, which happens only once in twelve years.
On 31 October 2026 it moves into Chingam. But not for long. It turns retrograde on 13 December at just 2.8° of Chingam and slips back into Karkidakam on 25 January 2027.
It returns to Chingam on 26 June 2027 and stays until 26 November 2027, when it moves on to Kanni. Many calendars skip the January return. We show it, because your results switch back for those five months.

Why does Jupiter go back to Karkidakam after entering Chingam? +
Jupiter turns retrograde every year for about four months. This time it turns back only 2.8° into Chingam, so the backward loop carries it across the border into Karkidakam for five months.
